Born in the Pegu division of Burma, Kyaw Kyaw Heain had always held dreams of being an artist; so at age 16 he took his first step in pursuing them by enrolling in Art school in Yangon.<\/p>\nBorn in the Pegu division of Burma, Kyaw Kyaw Heain had always held dreams of being an artist; so at age 16 he took his first step in pursuing them by enrolling in Art school in Yangon.<\/p>\n
He studied at the Institute of Art, under numerous teachers such as U Thet Oo, Win Tint and Oo Than Kywe. He enjoyed this period of his life very much and learnt many things about art and painting that gave him a sense of direction for what he wanted to achieve going forward.
\nAfter leaving Art School Kyaw Kyaw Hein put his skilled painters\u2019 hands to good use and became a commercial artist, working for an International Design Company in Yangon.<\/p>\n
Later, at the age of 22 after hearing of better financial opportunities to be found in Thailand; Kyaw Kyaw Hein arrived in Mae Sot and joined The Quantum Gem Stone Factory; producing gemstone pictures.<\/p>\n
Continuing to paint in his spare time, Kyaw Kyaw Hein soon met other local artists both inside and outside the factory, it was from them that he heard about Borderline and decided to become a member artist. Here he has enjoyed a number of exhibitions of his work both in Mae Sot and abroad in the United States.<\/p>\n
Kyaw Kyaw Heain\u2019s favourite subject is painting the local children whilst watching them play. Their joyful games and natural curiosity inspires his creativity and brings out his own inner child!<\/p>\n
He hopes to in the future develop his technical skills in both watercolour and oil paints, learning more about contemporary art and incorporating elements of this into his work.<\/p>\n
